Moldman Is Now Franchising!

Just when you thought that the mold industry never generates any exciting news, Moldman has dropped a major announcement that people will be talking about for decades:  Moldman is franchising!

Yes, that’s right. After 15 years and thousands of mold problems solved, Greg Bukowski and Devin Renberg, the co-owners of Moldman, have decided that franchising is the next growth step for the company.

“Small business has changed our lives for the better in so many ways.  Empowerment, freedom, work-life balance, and financial reward are just some of the benefits we’ve experienced from small business.  We want to spread the power of small business by helping create as many small business owners as possible across this great country of ours, and we think that a Moldman franchise is the perfect vehicle to do it,” said Greg Bukowski, founder of Moldman.

While many franchises in the remediation & restoration industry charge a high franchise fee ,Moldman is charging an extremely low franchise fee to open up the market to as many potential franchisees as possible. Moldman recognizes that there may be financial hurdles for new business owners, and wants to help with the process.

“Our franchise fee is just $1000.  Combined with low start-up costs, Moldman is one of the most affordable franchise options out there.  We’ve been told we’re crazy to charge so little, but we don’t think so.  We like doing things differently at Moldman,” said Devin Renberg, COO.

The company’s first franchise location has been awarded to Travis Boyer of St. Louis, Missouri.  Mr. Boyer did an outstanding job running Moldman St. Louis when it was owned by the company, and he’s now taking it over as an owner.

“Travis is a model owner.  If all of our future franchisees follow his lead, we will all enjoy tremendous success,” said Renberg.

The company plans to open multiple locations in the Chicagoland area, where the company was started, within the next couple years.  Long term, the company is scaling for 50+ locations across the USA.

“We’d like Moldman to be the first nation-wide mold company,” said Bukowski.  “We’ve got a great business model, a great brand, and a great team, so I don’t see a reason why we can’t do it.”
