St. Louis Area Mold Remediation & Inspection Services
Meet our St. Louis GM, Travis Boyer
Hi, my name is Travis Boyer and I am the General Manager of The St. Louis Moldman team. I am the person you will talk to directly if you reach out to us to help you with your mold problem. I will also most likely be the person who comes to your home and provides you with a free estimate for mold remediation if you need it. If you hire us for a job, I am also the person who oversees our crew to ensure your 100% satisfaction.
If you need a mold inspection or test, I will do that as well. But most of the time, mold testing is unnecessary and a waste of money if you already see visible mold.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to helping you.
Mold Removal & Mold Inspection Experts in the St. Louis Area.
Moldman is a professionally certified mold removal and mold inspection company serving the St. Louis metro area. We provide clean air and peace of mind to homeowners, businesses and those involved in real estate transactions by treating mold problems in an unconventional way.
When we say we are “unconventional,” it starts partly with our company philosophy, which is: conventional wisdom on mold is simply wrong. For example: certain assumed health effects are actually unproven or the cost to fix a mold problem is typically much less than most people realize if dealt with in a certain way. In fact, a professional is sometimes not even needed.
When a professional is needed, we deal with mold problems truthfully, quickly and cost effectively so you can go on with your life.
Wow. Customer service isn’t like it used to be. Travis Boyer reminder me of the good ‘ol days. I was really impressed by the professionalism that the Goldman team displayed. Their team was knowledgeable, took time to explain exactly what he was doing, and was patient with my questions… It’s rare nowadays to find a thorough and efficient technician, but Travis and his team were both.” – Jonathan Burton

We provide honest mold removal without all the hype, overblown prices and scare tactics. As we said above, most information on mold is dead wrong. Mold problems are common but can be fixed safely, quickly, and cost effectively. We provide Free Estimates and can usually be at your home or business within 1 business day.
Black Mold Growth in St. Louis Homes & Businesses
We get questions about black mold all the time. Perhaps, you have some too. But, the truth about black mold is that there are many types of molds that are black in color. In addition, most of what you probably read about the health effects of black mold are unproven. So what are the real health effects of black mold? All molds, be it black, green, yellow, etc can cause allergies (sneezing, coughing, watery eyes, etc) in some people. Further, just because its black does not mean it can potentially impact your health anymore or less than any other color of mold. There are over 100,000 species of mold and just knowing the color to the naked eye does not tell you how it might impact your health (with possible allergy-like symptoms). So if its black, should it be removed differently than say another color of mold? No. The color of the mold is irrelevant because the proper way to remove mold is the exact same regardless of the color or species.

With such a muggy and stormy summer season throughout the Midwest this year, concerns about water damage and the subsequent mold patches are especially justified if you’re renting from a management company — or even if you’re a landlord with rental property. June is typically the most rainy month for St. Louis; but this year the rainfall was abnormally high with 13.14 inches of rain, 9 inches above average. Last month was the second wettest month on record in St. Louis history. This rain increase was in part due to effects from tropical storm Bill, which eventually[…]
